All components can be machine washed and tumble dried.
We recommend an energy-saving, cold machine wash, although you can hot wash too.
Do tumble dry as this also fluffs up the inner fibre-fill bedding and ensures Poppy’s Pet Bed bounces back into shape.
Ideally, wash the inner cover and outer quilted cover separately from the household wash.
Hand washing is not recommended.

Poppy’s Pet Bed velour-feel quilted outer cover discourages ticks and fleas.
The water-repellent, laminated terry-cotton cover provides another layer of defence to protect the Japara cotton-encased fibre-filled inner bed.
Furthermore, our fabrics are created specifically for easy frequent washing and encourage cleanliness.
The two important factors for flea and tick prevention in your pet’s bed:
- Avoid shag pile or faux fur fabrics, which offer a haven for grit, shed hair and bacteria
- Ensure washability, given that your Pet Bed should be washed frequently

As fellow dog-lovers, we suggest the biggest consideration when choosing a Pet Bed must be health and safety. We intentionally do not use foam, polystyrene beads or anything that can be easily swallowed or chewed.

We do not use feathers or down. These are often harvested via live plucking.
Instead we use premium fibre-fill for reliable shape and fullness, created to provide superior bounce back and support with a luxurious feel that is similar to pure goose down.
Zero waste and reducing landfill are our aims; therefore Poppy’s Pet Bed, as well as the pack it comes in, is non-toxic, recyclable and can be upcycled or disposed with minimal environmental impact.

Yes. There are no known allergens or potential irritants in the Poppy’s Pet Bed, which is designed to be resistant to fleas, mites and ticks.

Poppy’s Pet Beds are soft and malleable and easily moved around the house or into the car due to the pliable nature of the inner fibre-fill. They are not stiff or foam-like.
Many of our customers like throwing their Poppy’s Pet Bed onto the couch or on top of their own beds.
It is a good idea to keep the box that Poppy’s Pet Bed comes in for easy travelling and transporting.
